Podology consultation

Description

The consultation is the starting point for patients who don't yet know which treatment they need, or who come in with a specific problem to assess. It lasts 30 minutes. We begin with a full interview — about lifestyle, footwear, coexisting conditions (diabetes, rheumatic diseases) and treatment history. Then we examine the feet, toes and nails. We don't perform any therapeutic treatments during the consultation — the outcome is a treatment plan: which appointments, in what order, at what intervals. A consultation is essential before an orthonyxia brace and before treating an ingrown toenail.

First-time patients, people with an undiagnosed foot problem, patients preparing for an orthonyxia brace.
