Cleaning of fungal nails

Description

Nail fungus (onychomycosis) requires local work — medication alone is rarely enough. We file down the diseased parts of the plate, disinfect the nail bed and apply topical products. We often recommend a mycological test to confirm the pathogen (a separate treatment, 170 zł). The treatment cycle usually lasts 3–6 months, with visits every 4–6 weeks. For the duration of therapy we recommend your own care tools (for your exclusive use) and specialist topical products.

Patients with white/yellow nail discolouration, crumbling, or a thickened plate.
